Rick Gebhardt

Rick Gebhardt has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Rick is currently serving as the Senior Product Manager at OurFamilyWizard. Prior to this, they co-owned and managed relationships with clients at Gee Ventures, LLC, where they also acted as the Product Manager within a development team. Rick was responsible for creating custom web-based software applications and static websites, and managed the legal, contractual, and financial aspects of the organization.

Before that, Rick worked at Grant Thornton International Ltd, initially as the Associate Director of Risk & Regulatory, and later as the Manager of Risk & Regulatory. In these roles, they acted as the Product Manager for a portfolio of web-based products used globally. Rick worked closely with firms and regulatory bodies to understand their needs and implemented changes to ensure a successful deployment of new and updated functionality. Rick also established and maintained data management strategies, including process development, review, taxonomy oversight, and system integration.

In addition, Rick has previous experience as the Quality Assurance Team Lead at Grant Thornton International Ltd, where they established the QA team and processes, worked with engineering to correct defects, and ensured a shared understanding of requirements. Rick also worked as an Independence Technology Specialist at Grant Thornton International Ltd, where they focused on risk and regulatory matters.

Earlier in their career, Rick owned and served as the editor of Decoy Music, a company they established himself. Rick also worked as a Business Analyst at Kingland Systems.

Rick Gebhardt completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Computer Science and Philosophy from Saint John's University, where they studied from 1999 to 2003. In addition to their degree, Rick has obtained several certifications throughout their career. Rick became a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from the Scrum Alliance in April 2019. In August 2010, they obtained a Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) certification from the International Association for Six Sigma Certification. Rick also achieved the Certified Software Test Professional - Master Level certification from the International Institute for Software Testing (IIST) in January 2012.
