Bernard Charnwut Chan

Bernard Charnwut Chan is a prominent leader in various sectors, currently serving as Chairman of Our Hong Kong Foundation since July 2017, as well as holding multiple roles such as Vice Chairman of the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority and Chairman of M+ Museum of Visual Culture. With extensive experience in the financial sector as Chairman of Asia Financial since 1997, Bernard also contributes to public service as Chairman of the Operations Review Committee for the Independent Commission Against Corruption and as a steward at The Hong Kong Jockey Club. Involved with the HKSAR Government in numerous capacities, Bernard's roles include convenor of the Non Official Members of the Executive Council and chairman of various committees focusing on health, development, and cultural revitalization. Bernard holds a Bachelor of Arts in Fine and Studio Arts from Pomona College and serves as a Trustee Emeritus at the same institution, while also being an Honorary Professor at The University of Hong Kong.
