Laura García-Courrau

Laura García-Courrau is a seasoned HR professional currently serving as the Global Director of People Empowerment at Our World Energy, overseeing US and Offshore Payroll and HR teams with over 750 members across multiple countries. Previously, Laura held the role of Director of Human Resources, managing HR, recruitment, and benefits for 300 employees. Additional roles include being an Advisory Council Member for Harvard Business Review, a Founding Member of Hacking HR and Safe Space, and part of the StartupExperts community. Laura's past experiences also include senior positions at BrightStar Care and Advancing Beyond the Spectrum, where significant improvements in recruitment and employee retention were achieved.
