Lauri Vuornos

Lauri Vuornos is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in software engineering and leadership roles across various companies. Currently serving as SVP of Software Engineering at ŌURA since April 2023, Lauri is dedicated to enhancing people's lives through innovative solutions. Previously, Lauri held the position of CTO at Utopia Music, focusing on fair pay in the music industry using big data and analytics. In a long tenure at Facebook from June 2014 to April 2021, including roles as VP of Engineering and Engineering Director within Facebook Connectivity, Lauri contributed to global internet access initiatives. Additional experience includes senior engineering roles at Pryte, Blaast, Nixu Oy, Bubbly, SEVEN, and Smartner Information Systems. Lauri holds an MSc in Software Engineering, Physics, and Electronics from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan.
