Mika Jaakola

Mika Jaakola is an experienced sourcing director currently at ŌURA since August 2023. Previously, Mika served as the Senior Manager of Sourcing at Bittium from February 2016 to June 2023, overseeing the entire sourcing function and managing the supply base and team. Prior roles include Director of Strategic Sourcing for Chipset & Licensing at Microsoft and Director of Mobile Phones Chipset Sourcing at Nokia. Mika's extensive background in Nokia includes positions such as Senior Account Manager, Head of Oulu Mechanics for Symbian Smartphones, and several managerial roles in RF design and engineering. Education includes a Diploma in Global Sourcing from Aalto University and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Oulu Institute of Technology.
