Renan Barros

Renan Sales Barros is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technology and biomedical engineering. Currently serving as Co-Founder at OurMind since August 2024, Renan previously held the position of Cofounder and Chief Technology Officer at Nicolab from September 2015 to July 2024. With a solid academic foundation, Renan completed a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Amsterdam, where studies spanned from January 2013 to November 2022, following a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Universidade Federal do Pará. Additionally, an Associate’s Degree in Information Technology was earned at Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica do Pará between 2003 and 2005.
