Peter Alcaraz

Peter Alcaraz has worked with small and mid sized companies for over thirty years, first as a corporate lawyer at Macfarlanes and for twenty four years as a merchant banker with Citibank, Hill Samuel and Close Brothers. In 2009 Peter retired from full time work and was appointed a senior adviser to a US investment bank Lincoln International LLP and London based independent advisory firm Gleacher Shacklock LLP. Through his origination business, Firsa, founded in 2010, Peter matches business services and technology companies with private equity and trade investors and buyers from his extensive network.

In 2016, Peter’s first book ‘The Wealth Game – an ordinary person’s companion’ was published to universal acclaim and has formed the basis for promoting another passion, financial literacy and capability. In summer 2020, the book was licensed to PWFO, a Swiss based network serving family offices and high net worth individuals for development into a digital personal finance course.

Peter graduated from Durham University in 1984 and passed the Solicitors’ professional exams at Guildford Law School in 1985.
