From 2000 to 2003, they worked as a Recruiting Coordinator at PRA International, where they coordinated recruitment efforts for a large company operating in the United States and internationally.

From 2003 to 2006, they served as an Executive Assistant at Reyes Holdings, where they provided administrative support to the Director of a beer distributor, managing scheduling, office supplies, and facilities.

From 2006 to 2009, they worked as a Human Resources Manager at Six3Systems, where they handled new employee orientation, administered employee benefits programs, and resolved benefit inquiries and complaints.

From 2009 to 2014, they served as a Benefits Manager at Six3Systems, responsible for administering employee benefits programs, developing specifications for new plans, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

From 2014 to 2017, they worked at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, first as a Sr. Benefits Specialist, managing health and wellness benefits programs for Union and Non-Union Staff and retirees, and then as an Associate Benefits Manager, responsible for bringing best practices to health programs and managing benefit vendors.

Since 2017, Melissa Landrum has been working at OUTFRONT Media as a Director and later Sr. Director of Benefits, designing and monitoring benefit programs, implementing efficient processes, and overseeing communications and education of benefit programs.
