Ignacio Villaverde

Ignacio Villaverde has amassed extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Ignacio currently holds the position of Engineering Team Lead at Outfund, where they have been working since May 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Software Engineer at the same company from September 2021 to May 2022. Before joining Outfund, Villaverde was the Chief Technology Officer at Inteliens from September 2019 to September 2021. Ignacio also worked at The Cocktail as a Senior Software Engineer from December 2018 to September 2019. In addition, they worked at Moove-it as a Team Leader from October 2016 to December 2017 and as a Software Engineer from January 2016 to October 2016. Villaverde also gained experience as a Full-Stack Developer at CRMGamified from January 2014 to January 2016, as well as at UruIT Global IT Services. Ignacio started their professional journey as an Android Developer in 2013, working as a Freelance Developer until June 2014.

Ignacio Villaverde completed their primary and secondary education at Christian Brothers College, Stella Maris. After that, they pursued Bachillerato at Instituto Juan XXIII, specializing in Ingeniería. In 2010, they enrolled in Universidad de la República, where they obtained a Grado en Ingeniería in Computación in 2017. As part of their academic journey, Ignacio then pursued a European Master in Software Engineering at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid from 2017 to 2019. Alongside their formal education, Ignacio also obtained several certifications including a Certificate in Advanced English from Instituto Cultural Anglo-Uruguayo in December 2007, a First Certificate in English from the University of Cambridge in December 2006, and a Certified Scrum Master credential from the Scrum Alliance in August 2015.
