Michael T. Astolfi has a long and varied work history. Michael T. began their career in 2011 as Co-Founder and Lead Game Designer at Blacktorch Games, LLC. Michael T. then moved to epicycle, LLC, where they served as Co-Founder and Game Developer from 2011 to 2015. In 2015, they founded Star Penguin Games, where they served as Founder and Game Developer. In 2016, they joined CTRL-labs as Product Manager and Developer, where they designed and developed interactive experiments and managed a team of developers to demonstrate the capabilities of the technology. From 2012 to 2013, they were Manager and Digital Strategies Producer at Carnegie Corporation of New York, where they oversaw the Corporation's digital communications products and managed CPC campaigns. In 2013, they joined the Center for Neural Science at New York University as Junior Research Scientist and Developer. Finally, in 2018, they joined Outlier.org as Vice President of Product and Head of Product.
Michael T. Astolfi received their Bachelor of Arts in Evolutionary Psychology from Boston University in 2007. Michael T. then went on to pursue a Master of Arts in The Design & Psychology of Video Games from New York University, which they completed in 2012. In 2014, they completed additional coursework in Calculus, Statistics, and Chemistry at Columbia University.
