Matt Palamos

Matt Palamos has worked in the software engineering field since 2016. Theirfirst role was as an R&D Lab Intern at Andpak Ltd in 2016. In 2017, they worked as a Software Engineering Fellow at Hack Reactor and then as a Software Engineer at Apple in 2018. In the same year, they also worked as a Software Engineer at Facebook. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at Pathpoint, where they are developing software using Javascript, React, Typescript, Node. js, Apollo GraphQL, and Golang. Matt has contributed to the creation of a reusable component library and design system, integrated various API's of different carrier markets into a cohesive summary page with Golang, coordinated with designers to covert Figma wireframes into polished and well maintained user interfaces, and created end to end test coverage that increase iteration speed and product reliability thru Cypress.

Matt Palamos has a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from San Jose State University, which they earned between 2014 and 2016. Prior to that, they earned an Associate's degree in Engineering from Los Medanos College between 2012 and 2014.
