Henry Hutcheson is a scientist currently employed at Outokumpu since June 2024, with previous experience as an electrochemical engineer at Phoenix Tailings from February 2022 to May 2024 and as an associate scientist at Savannah River National Laboratory from March 2021 to February 2022. Henry began a career in the laboratory as an intern at Idaho National Laboratory, focusing on electrochemical corrosion testing for neutron-absorbing alloys. Earlier roles include serving as an engineering aide at MassDEP, where water quality and ecological surveys were conducted, and providing support for the Massachusetts Water Quality Assessment. Henry also participated in the Nuclear Chemistry Summer School at Brookhaven National Laboratory in 2019 and held a counselor position at YMCA Camp MiTeNa from 2015 to 2018. Education was completed at Clark University with a degree in Chemistry in 2020.
