Niklas Wass

Niklas Wass is the EVP of Operations for Business Area Europe at Outokumpu. Niklas has over 20 years of experience in leadership roles.

Niklas Wass started their career as a teacher in a home for people 14-16 years old with special needs. Niklas then became a group leader for a forward observer team specialized on artillery for the Swedish Armed Forces.

In 2002, Niklas Wass became a project manager for Skövde Kommun and they have been in leadership roles ever since. Niklas Wass has been with Outokumpu for over 10 years and has been instrumental in the company's success.

Niklas Wass has a Master of Science in Environmental Science from Umeå University, a degree in Military Operational Art and Science/Studies from the Swedish Armed Forces, and a high school diploma in Natural Sciences from Västerhöjdsgymnasiet.

Niklas Wass reports to Heikki Malinen, President & CEO. They work with Martti Sassi - President, Business Area Ferrochrome, Thomas Anstots - EVP, Commercial, Business Area Europe, and Tamara Weinert - President, Business Area Americas.
