Brett Madres has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Brett began their career as a Transportation Engineering Intern at Michael Baker Corporation, where they contributed to the design of a re-roofing project and conducted user experience research. Following this, Brett served as a Structural Engineering Research Fellow at Villanova University, where they conducted testing and analysis on various infrastructure elements.
Brett then joined Long Beach Township Beach Patrol as an Ocean Lifeguard, where they prioritized public safety and received specialized training in emergency response. Brett later completed the Summer Institute for Entrepreneurship program at Stanford Graduate School of Business, gaining exposure to business fundamentals and commercialization strategies.
At Stanford University, Brett worked as a Teaching Assistant for professors in air pollution & atmospheric science and technology & business strategies. Brett was responsible for organizing class operations, teaching lectures, conducting review sessions, and grading student work.
At ChangeLabs, Brett contributed to a project funded by the U.S. Department of Energy's ARPA-E, focusing on developing sensor and communication technologies for achieving energy savings. Brett then joined RoundhouseOne, where they held roles as a Data Analyst and Technical Project Lead. In these positions, they performed data analysis for energy and environmental performance evaluations and managed concurrent projects.
Brett's next venture was at Sunrun, a leading home solar and energy services company, where they served as a Senior Sales Operations Analyst. Brett played a key role in driving sustainable net sales growth across various business channels.
Currently, Brett is employed at Outreach as a Senior Analytics Manager in the Go-To-Market (GTM) department. Brett previously held the position of Analytics Manager before being promoted. In both roles, they have leveraged their expertise to drive data-driven decision-making and optimize sales strategies.
Brett Madres holds a Master's Degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering with a specialization in the Atmosphere & Energy Program from Stanford University, which they obtained from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering at Villanova University from 2006 to 2010. In terms of additional certifications, Brett obtained the Engineer in Training (EIT) certification from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) in May 2009.
