Jan Pěček

Jan Pěček has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and development. Jan began their career in 2006 as a PHP/SQL Developer at SEO Expert, where they worked until 2008. Jan then joined Cleevio, s.r.o. as a PHP/SQL Developer from November 2007 to March 2009. In 2007, they also worked as a Software Developer at Advantech Czech s.r.o., where their tenure ended in 2010.

From 2008 to 2010, Jan worked as a PHP Web Developer at Jyxo, s.r.o. Jan then joined Mediální skupina MAFRA in 2010, where they held various roles. From July 2010 to February 2013, they worked as a PHP/SQL Developer, contributing new technologies. From March 2013 to May 2014, they were promoted to Team Leader, SW Architect & PHP Developer, leading a team of PHP developers. Their responsibilities included analysis, planning, database modeling, and coordination of the developers' work.

In 2014, Jan joined ZENTITY a.s. as a Senior Software Engineer and worked there until May 2021. In 2021, they had brief stints at EBCONT as an IT Consultant in June and at tset as a Backend Developer from July to September. From October 2021 to November 2022, they worked as the Chief Technology Officer at AddAI.Life. Currently, they are employed as a Senior Software Engineer at Outreach, starting from August 2023.

Jan Pěček earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Czech Technical University in Prague, completing their studies from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, they attended SPŠE a VOŠ Pardubice, where they obtained a Maturita Exam with a focus on Electronics, Math, and Automatization between 2004 and 2008. Jan then pursued their Master's degree in Open Informatic - Software Engineering and Computer Engineering at Czech Technical University in Prague from 2011 to 2014.
