Joaquín Ruiz-Rivas

Joaquín Ruiz-Rivas has a diverse work experience in various research and development roles. Joaquín recently worked as an Algorithm Developer at OutSense from February 2023 to the present. Prior to that, they held the same position at Donisi Health from November 2015 to February 2023.

Joaquín's academic background includes a Postdoctoral contract for research on open quantum systems at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in October 2015. Joaquín also worked as a PhD scholarship holder at the Universitat de València from September 2012 to June 2015, where they conducted research on cavity quantum and non-linear optics.

During their academic journey, Joaquín was a Visiting PhD Student at Technische Universität München for a short period in April to July 2013. Joaquín gained additional experience as a Training contract holder for scientific and technical research at the Instituto de Física Corpuscular (IFIC) from July 2010 to September 2012, and again in June 2010.

Joaquín started their research career with a Scholarship for research initiation at Escuela Universitaria de Óptica in January to December 2009.

Joaquín Ruiz-Rivas completed their education in physics with a degree from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid in 2009. Joaquín then pursued a Master's degree in Advanced Physics with a speciality in Nuclear and High Energy Physics at the University of Valencia from 2009 to 2010. Following this, they continued their studies at the University of Valencia and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics with a focus on Quantum and Non Linear Optics from 2012 to 2015.
