Tanuj Chirimar

Tanuj Chirimar has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and development. Tanuj is currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering at Outset Medical, Inc. Tanuj previously held positions such as Senior Manager of Software Development, Software Engineering Manager, and Senior and Embedded Software Engineer at the same company. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Development Engineer Intern at PMC-Sierra, where they developed and tested firmware for PCIe SAS Raid controllers. Tanuj also worked as an Applications and Performance Engineer Co-op at PMC-Sierra, where they conducted performance tests for PCIe-based RAID and HBA controllers. Additionally, Tanuj has experience as a Test Development Engineering Intern at SanDisk, where they integrated a web-based test management system and set up the Testlink server. Tanuj started their career as an Embedded Systems Intern at ThinkLABS Technosolutions Pvt. Ltd., where they gained expertise in microcontroller programming and integration with various sensors and displays.

Tanuj Chirimar earned a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from San Jose State University between 2013 and 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Mumbai from 2009 to 2013. Tanuj completed their Higher Secondary Certificate (H.S.C.) at Mithibai College from 2007 to 2009 and their ICSE degree at Jamnabai Narsee School from 1995 to 2007. In terms of additional certifications, Tanuj received the Executive Influence certification from LinkedIn in 2021 and the Stepping Up To Professional Excellence certification from Dale Carnegie Training in 2012.
