Artem Papkov

Artem Papkov has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Artem most recently worked at Outward, Inc. as the Director of Aperture Platform Software Engineering since June 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Commerce Systems Engineering at Poshmark from April 2021 to June 2022. Artem also worked at IPSY as the Director of Application Services and Platforms Engineering from November 2019 to April 2021. Before that, they served as the Director of E-commerce Engineering at Williams-Sonoma, Inc. from September 2018 to November 2019 and as a Senior Enterprise Architect from August 2013 to September 2018. Artem gained valuable experience at IBM, where they worked from October 2000 to August 2013, starting as a Managing Consultant, Senior Architect, and Project Manager before becoming the Capability Owner and Senior Architect at ibm.com. Artem began their career at IBA Group as a Team Leader, IT Architect, and Senior Software Engineer from January 1998 to October 2000. Artem's early experience includes working as a Software Engineer at BelCAF from October 1996 to January 1998 and at frASco from November 1994 to October 1996.

Artem Papkov attended the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics from 1993 to 1998, where they obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science. In addition, they studied at the University of Cambridge from 1995 to 1997, specializing in Advanced English.

Artem also holds two additional certifications: Certified IT Architect from IBM, which they obtained in May 2009, and Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute, which they achieved in August 2004.
