Jonathan Fernández Vargas

Jonathan Fernández Vargas has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. In 2008, they started their career at ITAC S.A. as an Ingeniero Junior I, and eventually became a Desarrollador Experto. Jonathan worked there until 2013. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as an Analista de Desarrollo at Experian. In 2014, they started working at Globant as a Semi Senior Advance Java Developer, and then became a Senior Java Developer. Jonathan worked at Globant until 2021. In 2021, they joined EPAM Anywhere as a Senior Software Engineer, and worked there until February 2022. Currently, they are employed at Overactive as a Backend Software Designer.

Jonathan Fernández Vargas completed their education in the field of software development. Jonathan first attended the Fundación Universitaria San Martín from 2005 to 2010, where they obtained a degree in Systems Engineering with a specialization in software development. In 2014, they briefly attended the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, where they earned a degree as a Software Business Architect.

In addition to their formal education, Jonathan has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills. Jonathan completed the "PSP Fundamentals" certification offered by the Software Engineering Institute | Carnegie Mellon University in October 2011. Moreover, they have obtained various certifications from LinkedIn, including "Get Ready for Your Coding Interview" in January 2022, "Microservices Foundations" in November 2021, "Spring Boot 2.0 Essential Training" in November 2021, "Java: Testing with JUnit" in October 2021, and "Spring 5.0 and Spring Boot 2.0 New Features" in October 2021. In September 2020, they also obtained the "Arquitecto Amazon Web Services" certification from MitoCode.
