Mauricio Salazar

Mauricio Salazar is an experienced web application developer with a strong background in front-end development. Mauricio began their career as an intern at BankBoston and Itaú Unibanco before joining Macri as a software programmer, where they developed new features using VB.NET. Mauricio then worked as a frontend developer at Datamyne, Inc., where they specialized in front-end development. Mauricio then transitioned to Tavano Team as a frontend developer, working on web applications hosted on Netsuite platforms and specializing in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Mauricio later joined NetSuite as a professional services consultant, where they built custom solutions for multinational customers using JavaScript and Backbone.js. After NetSuite, Mauricio worked as a freelance full-stack developer before joining Jam3 as a front-end developer. Mauricio then moved on to Globant as a web UI developer, and is currently employed at Overactive as a senior web application developer.

Mauricio Salazar began their education at J. F. Kennedy school in 1995 and completed their studies there in 2008. During this time, they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. In 2008, Mauricio enrolled in Universidad ORT Uruguay to obtain a degree in Computer Systems, where they are currently studying.

In addition to their formal education, Mauricio has obtained several certifications. In 2006, they obtained the CILP (Certificado Internacional de Lingua Portuguesa) from Universidade de Caxias do Sul and the F.C.E (First Certificate in English) from the University of Cambridge. In 2008, they completed the IGCSE Business Studies course from the University of Cambridge. The most recent certification obtained by Mauricio is the Graphic Design Course from Bios, which they completed in January 2013.
