About The Role

We're looking for a world-class Sales Leader to join our growing team as our first sales hire and help create, execute and scale our revenue engine. Overalls is a B2B2C business and we are looking for an experienced B2B sales leader (or rising Senior Account Executive) talent who's eager to start something new. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies and processes that drive new companies to the Overalls platform, and monitoring and reporting on sales goals, adjusting tactics as needed to reach them. You will work closely with senior leadership and collaborate with the customer acquisition and marketing team. You are excited by the responsibility of being the first sales team hire, and at the start will generate sales directly by handling all aspects of the sales cycle from prospecting to close.

You will:

  • Generate sales by handling all aspects of the sales cycle from prospecting to close

  • Build, operationalize and execute our sales process

  • Collaborate across our go-to-market funnel (marketing, customer acquisition)

  • Work with Marketing to create sales collateral and drive growth

  • Create, refine and execute our sales motion and scripts

  • Mentor Business Development Reps and help structure the sales team as it grows

  • Maintain and refine our CRM

  • Forecast, manage pipeline and oversee sales and growth related KPIs

  • Evangelize Overalls from development to close of new business

  • Develop expertise in insuretech

  • Work with leadership team on sales and growth strategy and revenue forecasting

You will bring the following experience to the team:

  • 5+ years of relevant sales experience across both inbound and outbound sales teams, including management of BDRs and a track record of exceeding quota

  • Prior experience in insuretech, fintech or selling into employer HR teams a plus

  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment

  • Possess extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices, and an ability to coach others on them

  • Ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions

  • Strength in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask

  • Strong leadership and team building skills
