Hajime (Jim) Tamura

Hajime (Jim) Tamura has over 25 years of experience in the technology industry. Hajime (Jim) began their career in 1996 with Baan Company as a Sales/Marketing professional, where they were responsible for product launch of BAAN IV and acquiring "light-house" customers. In 1997, they joined J.D. Edwards as a Manager, spending half of their time at the company's Denver, CO headquarters. Tamura then moved to Glovia International K.K. in 1998, where they held various roles, including Vice President, Country Manager Japan, Director, Product Marketing, and Director, Sales and Marketing. In 2007, they joined SAP as Vice President, Customer Innovation Center and Vice President, Marketing. Tamura then moved to NetSuite in 2009, where they were the Representative Director and VP Country Manager Japan. In 2013, they joined IBM as Director, Cloud Business Development and then moved to circlace Inc. in 2014 as Board Member (external) and Representative Director, President. Tamura then joined Asana in 2019 as General Manager, Japan and Country Manager before joining oVice, Inc. in 2022 as Chief Operating Officer.

Hajime (Jim) Tamura attended Kokugakuin University from 1986 to 1990, graduating with a B.L. in Law. In 1996, they attended Baan Business IT School to study Business and Software Application. Hajime (Jim) also holds two certifications from Microsoft, having obtained Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals in May 2019, and Insight Selling in December 2017.
