Daniel Kenny

Daniel Kenny is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in security, emergency response, and business continuity. Currently serving as the Security, Emergency Response and Business Continuity Manager at Ovintiv since March 2019, Kenny oversees critical functions for resources and assets in the United States and Canada. Prior to this role, Kenny held senior positions at Newfield Exploration, where responsibilities included developing emergency response and business continuity plans, and at Check Six International Inc., focusing on operational efficiency and safety on oil rigs. Kenny's notable career also includes significant leadership roles with NORAD and the U.S. Coast Guard, where expertise in operations, personnel management, and strategic planning was honed. Kenny holds a Master of Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School, is a graduate of the Senior Leader Fellow Program with the Department of Homeland Security, and earned a degree in Management and Economics from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy.
