Kevin Johnson

Kevin Johnson is a seasoned professional in the field of cybersecurity, currently serving as a Global Board Member for the OWASP Foundation since January 2020 and as Vice-Chair of the Project Committee. As the founder and CEO of Secure Ideas, established in August 2010, Kevin specializes in conducting penetration tests and teaching classes. Additional experience includes serving as Faculty at IANS Research, a Senior Instructor at SANS from 2006 to early 2014, and a Senior Security Consultant at InGuardians from 2007 to 2010. Prior roles encompass ownership of Secure Ideas, technical architecture at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida, and programming positions at various companies. Kevin holds a GCIA in Intrusion Analysis from SANS and has additional training from IBM WebSphere and the SANS Institute.
