Shih-Chieh Kung

Shih-Chieh (Cooper) Kung is an experienced scientist currently serving as Senior Scientist II at Owens Corning since July 2018, where responsibilities include leading technical efforts in New Product Development and the Coating Technology Platform for Fiberglass Nonwovens. Prior to this role, Shih-Chieh worked as a Senior Scientist focused on Product Development in North America Nonwovens and Composite Solutions. Previous positions include Senior Research Engineer in Coated Abrasives R&D at Saint-Gobain and Research Scientist at Far Eastern New Century. Shih-Chieh holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University, as well as both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from National Tsing Hua University.
