Anna Huyghues-Despointes

Anna Huyghues-Despointes is the Head of Strategy & Corporate Development at Owkin. Anna has over 10 years of experience in business development, strategic planning, and cross-functional execution.

Prior to joining Owkin, Anna was the Chief Corporate Development Officer at a technology startup called Owkin, where they were responsible for funding, strategic partnerships, acquisitions, divestitures, spinouts, and IP valorization. Anna also served as the Head of Strategy, responsible for business operations, product strategy, demand generation, strategic collaborations, corporate development, regulatory initiatives, IP & patents, and investor relations. During their time at Owkin, Anna helped raise over $70M from investors such as GV, F-Prime & Eight Roads, Mubadala Capital & Bpifrance.

Anna is also an active member of the Forbes Business Development Council and has served as an investor with Balderton Capital and mentor with Seedcamp and Techstars. In addition, they is a member of Founders of the Future.
