Floriane Montanari

Floriane Montanari currently serves as the Computational Drug Discovery Team Lead and Lead Research Scientist at Owkin since June 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a Machine Learning Scientist at Bayer from May 2017 to May 2023, and a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Vienna from October 2016 to March 2017. Floriane obtained a PhD in Pharmacoinformatics from the University of Vienna, where research focused on predicting the inhibition of liver ABC transporters by small molecules. Earlier positions include a Research Assistant at IRB Barcelona, where participation in the development of a personalized medicine platform occurred, and an intern at Sanofi-Aventis and CASL UCD, contributing to R&D lead optimization and bioinformatics. An Engineer's Degree in biology and bioinformatics was earned at Polytech'Nice-Sophia, complemented by a preparatory class for engineering school at Lycée Jean Rostand.
