Steve Butler has extensive work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Steve began their career at IRI in 1991 as a Senior Developer in the Custom Solutions Group and later became a Senior Programmer, specializing in custom applications. In 1996, they joined Braun Consulting as a Senior Manager and held this position until 2002.
In 2003, Steve joined GE Healthcare, where they contributed significantly to the company's success. Steve initially served as a Program Manager for Imaging PACS, overseeing the delivery of global solutions and applications. From 2010 to 2015, they took on the role of Quality Manager and established the Quality Engineering department, playing a pivotal role in rewriting Design Controls in response to an FDA action. From 2015 to 2021, they served as a PMO PACS Program Manager, responsible for managing the delivery of complex Healthcare Imaging solutions, driving simplification across functional groups and processes, and ensuring efficient delivery.
Most recently, in 2021, Steve joined Owl Cyber Defense as a Senior Project and Quality Manager.
Steve Butler earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Illinois State University, where they attended from 1985 to 1989. In addition to their undergraduate degree, Steve obtained certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from Scrum Alliance in March 2012 and Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE) from ASQ - World Headquarters in June 2010.
