Jamie Doris

Jamie Doris has extensive work experience in various roles related to software development and web design. They began their career in 2002 as a Freelance Web Designer/Developer, where they built, enhanced, and maintained client websites. They also managed client website hosting and administered web servers.

In 2004, Jamie joined Creative Music as an Instructor, where they taught music for four years. Simultaneously, they worked at FairfieldCountyOnline.com and MVOL.com as a Lead Developer, responsible for developing custom-built content management systems and public facing business directories. They also built, enhanced, and maintained client websites during this time.

From 2009 to 2015, Jamie worked at UBM Medica US as a Senior PHP Developer, collaborating on the development of a large-scale multi-site Drupal platform. They built custom Drupal modules, created Drupal themes, and utilized SASS and Omega 3 and 4.

In 2015, Jamie joined etouches as a Senior Developer and contributed to the development of new SaaS product offerings. They customized software packages, addressed client needs, and collaborated with teammates to solve complex problems.

In 2018, Jamie joined Agency Labs as a Developer, where they planned and developed secure Laravel applications for data gathering and monitoring in the pharmaceutical industry. They also built responsive and mobile-friendly client websites using modern tools and frameworks.

Starting in 2019, Jamie worked as a UI Engineer at Hitachi Consulting, contracting for a large Aerospace Client. They engineered features and enhancements for a single page application using Typescript, Vue, and SCSS. They also ensured smooth continuous delivery and deployment through unit testing and implemented best practices for scaling and performance optimization.

Most recently, in 2020, Jamie worked as a Software Developer at ROM Technologies Inc, where they contributed to software development projects before transitioning to their current role as a Sr. Frontend Engineer at Owl in 2021.

Throughout their career, Jamie has demonstrated expertise in web development, software engineering, UI engineering, and front-end development, utilizing various technologies and frameworks.

Jamie Doris attended Bethel High School from 1987 to 1991. Following high school, from 1994 to 1998, Jamie studied Jazz and Contemporary Music at The New School with no specific degree mentioned.
