Kurt Fienberg

Kurt Fienberg has a diverse range of work experience in the field of audio signal processing and software engineering. Kurt currently works as a Senior Principal Audio Software Engineer at Owl Labs since July 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Engineering Manager - Audio Operations Team at Motorola Solutions from June 2017 to June 2021. Kurt also held the position of Principal Staff Software Engineer (DSP) at the same company from January 2012 to June 2017. Before joining Motorola Solutions, Kurt worked as a Senior DSP Engineer at Wolfson Dynamic Hearing from February 2011 to January 2012. Kurt has also worked at Symstream as a Software Engineering Manager (February 2010 to February 2011) and a Senior Algorithm Developer (DSP) (February 2008 to February 2010). Additionally, they have experience as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Minnesota in 2007 and as an English Language Teacher at AHPLA INSTITUTE, S.C. in 2006. Kurt'searliest role was as an Algorithm Developer (DSP) at Symstream from April 2004 to July 2006.

Kurt Fienberg holds a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree in Physical Sciences from the University of Tasmania, which was awarded in 2003. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science - BS degree in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics at the same university, graduating in 1998.
