Yana Nesterenko

Yana Nesterenko has a varied work experience in the field of Cyber Security. Yana currently leads their own company, which they started in 2022. Prior to that, they worked at GlobeTax from 2019 to 2022, first as an AVP Corporate Security and then as a Corporate Security Specialist. Before joining GlobeTax, Yana served as an Assistant Information Security Officer at Bank of Communications Co., Ltd. in 2019. Yana'searlier experience includes working as an Information Security Analyst at Teachers' Retirement System of the City of New York from 2017 to 2019.

Yana Nesterenko holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Cybersecurity and Information Technology from Western Governors University. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Technical Management (Business Administration) from DeVry University. In addition to their formal education, Yana has obtained several certifications, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS), Jr Penetration Tester from TryHackMe, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)², Leadership & Management Skills, Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from EC-Council, Certified ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance, and various badges and certifications related to cybersecurity and software security from reputable institutions.
