Rui Matos

Rui Matos currently serves as Ekonomichef at Oxelösunds Kommun since August 2023. Prior to this role, Rui held the position of Finance Director at Norrköpings Kommun from May 2017 to August 2023. Rui's experience includes a short-term role as Business Controller Specialist at Cyclife Sweden/EDF in early 2017, where Rui established new accounting and reporting procedures. Rui also worked at Studsvik in various capacities from January 2009 to December 2016, including Vice President Finance Business Area Operating Efficiency and Acting President/CEO of Studsvik Scandpower Group. Additional positions held by Rui include Business Controller at Studsvik Nuclear AB, IT Manager at Scania, Head of Accounting and Reporting at Bredbandsbolaget, and multiple roles at Ericsson. Rui holds a Master’s degree in Business & Administration from Stockholm University, earned between 1998 and 2001.
