Tena Prelec

Tena Prelec is an accomplished academic and analyst currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the University of Rijeka's Centre for Advanced Studies South East Europe since October 2023. With significant experience at The London School of Economics and Political Science as a Research Associate since August 2013, Tena has also provided expertise as a Senior Analyst and Region Head at Oxford Analytica, focusing on South Eastern Europe and the EU. Tena's previous roles include research fellowships at the University of Oxford and the German Marshall Fund, as well as contributions as a country expert for Freedom House and a fellow at the World Economic Forum. Tena holds a PhD in Politics from the University of Sussex and advanced degrees in law and regional studies from various institutions, underscoring a robust educational background.
