Mahesh Jayamanna, Ph.D., is an experienced professional in the field of analytical chemistry, currently serving as Manager of QC Chemistry at Oxford Biomedica since April 2022. Prior roles include Scientist II and Scientist I in QC Chemistry and Analytical Development at Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical Inc. from October 2019 to April 2022, and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School from 2016 to 2019, where Mahesh developed a breath-based diagnostic technique for fungal infections. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Colombo. Research experience spans artificial photosynthesis and analytical method development, with previous positions held at several organizations including Vista Scientific, Bureau Veritas, and the University of Colombo.
