Chuck Hannum

Chuck Hannum has a strong background in protein sciences and biotechnology. Chuck currently holds a Senior Director position at Oxford BioTherapeutics since 2015. Prior to that, they worked as a Principal Scientist at Sea Lane Biotechnologies from 2009 to 2015. Their previous experience includes roles as a Principal Scientist at Facet Biotech from 2008 to 2010 and at PDL BioPharma from 2004 to 2008. Chuck also served as a Senior Staff Scientist at Schering Plough Biopharma/DNAX from 1995 to 2003, a Staff Scientist at DNAX Research Institute from 1990 to 1995, and a Scientist at Synergen from 1987 to 1990. Chuck started their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Jewish Medical and Research Center from 1983 to 1986.

Chuck Hannum received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology from Wheaton College in 1971. Chuck then pursued their Master's degree (MS) in Biochemistry at the University of Illinois Chicago from 1975 to 1977. Chuck continued their education at Northwestern University, where they obtained a Ph.D. in Biochemistry in 1983.
