Nathan Mandernach

Nathan Mandernach has extensive work experience in the aerospace industry. Nathan is currently the Director of Operations at X-Ray Technology, Inc under Oxford Instruments since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Maxar Technologies as the Senior Director of Corporate Strategy from 2018 to 2022, and as the Director of Engineering from 2018 to 2020. Before that, they held various positions at SSL (Space Systems Loral) from 2006 to 2018, including Director of Manufacturing, Spacecraft Thermal Vacuum Test Manager, and Lead Thermal Engineer. Nathan also worked at Boeing as a Thermal Engineer from 2004 to 2006, and at UC Berkeley Space Sciences Laboratory as a Mission and Science Operations staff from 2000 to 2004.

Nathan Mandernach earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science from the University of California, Berkeley, from 2000 to 2004. Nathan then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Fluids and Heat Transfer at the University of Southern California, from 2006 to 2009.
