Digital Product Designer at Oxford Medical Simulation

Oliver Amorowson has had a varied career since 2007, starting as a Senior Creative Designer at Clockwise Marketing. During their time there, they were involved in a number of UK-wide marketing campaigns for high profile clients. In 2009, they began working as a Freelance Designer and Art Director. In 2016, they became a Senior Graphic/UX Designer at housesimple.com, where they worked with in-house teams to create and develop new and existing marketing and operational design systems. In 2018, they became a Senior UX & Visual Designer at earthware ltd, where they worked on AccessLOOP and LiverSync, both award-winning apps. In 2019, they held the roles of District Councillor and Town Councillor for Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils and Stowmarket Town Council, respectively. Currently, they are a Digital Product Designer at Oxford Medical Simulation and the Founder and Host of The Light Ages Podcast.

Oliver Amorowson has an extensive educational background. In 2021, they completed a Professional Development - Short Course in Design for Sustainability at the University of the Arts London. In 2018, they obtained a HUMAN-COMPUTER INTERACTION - HCI certification from The Interaction Design Foundation. From 2007 to 2008, they attended Heart of Worcestershire College and earned a City & Guilds in Web Page, Digital/Multimedia and Information Resources Design. From 2006 to 2007, they attended the same college and earned a City & Guilds in 2D CAD Design. From 1996 to 1999, they attended Staffordshire University and earned a Graphic Communication: University Diploma in Graphic Design, Electronic Media, and Advertising. Finally, from 1993 to 1995, they attended Heart of Worcestershire College and earned a National Diploma in Graphic Design.
