Oliver Jones has a diverse work experience in procurement and supply chain management. Oliver currently works at Oxford Nanopore Technologies as a DDMRP Process Manager, where they focus on implementing DDMRP processes into production and quality processes. Before this, they served as a Senior Supply Chain Analyst at the same company, where they worked on project implementation and adoption of DDMRP and DDS&OP across Flow Cell Manufacturing and Supply Chain.

Prior to joining Oxford Nanopore Technologies, Oliver worked at Crowcon Detection Instruments Ltd. as a Buyer, where they managed a spend of approximately £5 million and implemented contracts while optimizing inventory levels. Oliver also worked at apetito UK as a Procurement Manager, where they successfully increased the profile and impact of indirect procurement across the business. Oliver also held the position of Procurement Manager for food ingredients, where they managed a spend of £5 million and conducted market analysis to predict raw material price movements.

Oliver's career started with a placement at Cummins Inc. as a Global Supply (Purchasing) Placement, where they supported the purchasing department in procuring high-quality merchandise at the lowest possible price and managing engineering/manufacture change orders.

Oliver holds a First Class Degree in BA Business Economics and Supply Chain Management with Professional Experience from The University of Hull, where they were recognized as the Avenue Award Winner for Economics for their outstanding performance in Economics.
