Miklos Espak

Miklos Espak has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering. In their most recent role, they served as a Senior Software Engineer at Oxford Nanopore Technologies, starting in December 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at SmartCow from August 2021 to September 2022 and at Teraki from April 2020 to August 2021. They also held the position of Technical Lead at Motilent from September 2017 to April 2020.

Before transitioning into industry roles, Miklos worked as a Research Associate at UCL, where they were responsible for the development and architecture of in-house medical imaging software used in clinical studies affiliated with UCL. They also worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Universita' degli Studi di Torino and as a Lecturer Assistant at the University of Debrecen, where they gave seminars and lectures on programming and carried out research.

Miklos Espak earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Science from the University of Debrecen, where they studied from 2001 to 2004. Prior to that, they obtained a MSc degree in Software Engineering and Mathematics from Debreceni Egyetem, attending from 1996 to 2001. Additionally, Miklos Espak has obtained a certification in Time Management: Working from Home from LinkedIn in April 2020.
