Laura Hudson

Laura Hudson, PhD, is a seasoned medical writer currently employed by Oxford PharmaGenesis since October 2021, following a tenure as a scientific editor and deputy managing editor at Spandidos Publications from October 2018 to October 2021. With extensive experience in scientific communication, Laura has demonstrated expertise in manuscript editing, peer review processes, and team management. Prior to this, Laura completed a PhD in Infection and Immunity at St George's, University of London, where responsibilities included tutoring and supervising undergraduates. Earlier positions as a molecular virologist and assay scientist at Public Health England and GSK involved assay development, virology, and training in laboratory techniques. Laura holds a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology with Virology from the University of Leeds.
