Chris Odida McIarb

Chris Odida MCIARB, FCILT, FCIPS has an extensive work experience spanning over several years. Chris is currently the Head of Global Procurement at Oxford Policy Management, a position they have held since April 2023. Prior to this, they were a Senior Procurement Manager & Cluster Lead at the British Council for five years, from November 2018 to April 2023.

Before joining the British Council, Chris served as the Procurement and Logistics Manager at the University of Maryland School of Medicine from December 2016 to November 2018. Prior to that, they held the same role at the KEMRI-University of California San Francisco PROGRAM from July 2015 to December 2016.

Chris also has experience working as a Senior Procurement Specialist at the East African Development Bank from August 2013 to July 2015. Before that, they served as the Head of Procurement at the Kenya Sugar Research Foundation from April 2011 to August 2013.

Early in their career, Chris worked as a Manager at Standard Chartered Bank from August 2006 to March 2011.

Chris Odida MCIARB, FCILT, FCIPS has a comprehensive education history. Chris obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and Public Administration from Moi University in 2003. In 2010, they completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Purchasing & Supply Management from the Kenya Institute of Management. In 2013, they earned a Master of Business Administration with IT (MBA) degree from Maseno University, specializing in Strategic Management. Additionally, in 2013, they received their FCIPS (Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) qualification from CIPS - The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply. More recently, in 2020, Chris Odida obtained the MCIArb (Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators) qualification from the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators UK.
