Tata Chanturidze has a diverse work experience in the field of health policy and systems strengthening. Tata started their career in 1997 as a Public Health Specialist at the Ministry of Health in Georgia. From 2001 to 2003, they worked as a Global Health and capacity development consultant at the Center for Training and Consultancy (CTC). Tata then joined the DFID PHC reform program as a Consultant for PHC and HSS from 2003 to 2006. In 2006, they became the Deputy Minister of MoLHSA in Georgia, a position they held until 2007. Since then, they have worked at Oxford Policy Management in various roles, including Senior Consultant, Health Policy from 2012 to 2015, Principal Consultant, Health Systems Strengthening from 2015 to present, and currently as the Health Practice Lead since December 2019.
Tata Chanturidze earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Tbilisi State Medical University between 1988 and 1994. Tata later pursued a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree with a focus on International Public Health/International Health from Emory University between 1999 and 2001.
