Zahra Moulvi has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations and roles. Starting in 2006, they worked as an Assistant Project Manager at the Planning & Development Department, Government of Punjab, where they conducted research and authored draft guidelines for project evaluations. In 2009, they worked as a Research Associate at Lahore University of Management Sciences. In 2010, they served as a Consultant at Semiotics Consultants and later became the Manager of Research and Evaluation at Save the Children US, supporting the organization's education development programs. From 2011 to 2014, Zahra worked at Save the Children International, first as an Education Advisor, providing technical assistance in education emergency grants, and later as an Education Innovation Specialist, leading assessment and research initiatives for literacy programs. Zahra also gained experience at Management Systems International as a Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist and later as a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist, managing evaluations for USAID projects. Zahra then joined UNDP as an MEL Consultant in 2022 and progressed to Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Manager for the Merged Areas (ex-FATA) Governance Project. Currently, Zahra is working as an Evaluation Consultant for the Association for Progressive Communications, evaluating the Southeast Asia Digital Rights Collaborative. In 2023, they also joined Oxford Policy Management as the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Lead.
Zahra Moulvi completed a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Lahore University of Management Sciences from 2002 to 2006. Zahra also earned a Master's degree in Public Policy (MPP) from The George Washington University from 2007 to 2009.
