Waqas Hussain has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Waqas began their career as an Assistant Director of Marketing and Promotions at Mentor Shipping & Logistics in 2011. Waqas then transitioned to become the Head of Planning and Promotions at Mentor Institute in 2011-2012. In 2012-2014, they worked as a Co-Editor at Newports Institute of Communications and Economics. Following this, they became an Assistant Head of Department and Lecturer at Newports Institute of Communication and Economics, and later became a Lecturer at Khadim Ali Shah Bukhari Institute of Technology in 2017. Additionally, they worked as a Research Evaluator at Greenwich University in 2017. Currently, they are serving as the Managing Director of Oxford Public Schools.

Waqas Hussain has a diverse educational background. Waqas obtained a Bachelor of Education degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Newport University in 2012-2013. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Marketing from the Institute of Business Management (IoBM) between 2006 and 2011. Currently, Waqas is pursuing a Ph.D. in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services at the Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology, starting in 2019. Earlier in their education, they attended Adamjee Government Science College for an unspecified period, and also completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a specialization in Marketing from the Institute of Business Management (IoBM), although the exact years are unknown. Lastly, they completed Matriculation and S.S studies with a specialization in Bio-Science at Oxford Public Secondary School.
