Jacinto Perez-Borrajo has worked as an engineer since 2005. From 2005 to 2008, they were an Electron Microscopy Technician at Universidad de Vigo, where they were responsible for sample preparation for Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), as well as analysis of samples by SEM, TEM and EDX for research groups and companies. Jacinto also wrote reports with results for customers. From 2008 to 2014, they were an R&D Engineer at T-SOLAR GLOBAL, S.A., where they designed experiments and research strategies for efficiency optimization as a member of an interdisciplinary team. From 2014 to present, they have been a Failure Analysis Engineer at Oxford Photovoltaics Ltd, as well as a Senior Research Associate at University of Vigo, where they have been involved in the development of ultrasound systems for food processing and a joint R&D project with private companies.
Jacinto Perez-Borrajo received their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Applied Physics from the Universidad de Vigo between 2002 and 2006. Jacinto also received their Master's degree in Organic Chemistry from the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela between 1994 and 2000.
