Athene Blakeman

Athene Blakeman has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Athene is currently working as the Head of Legal at Oxford Science Enterprises since January 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Director at Great Salt Lake Brine Shrimp Cooperative, Inc. from June 2019 to June 2021. Athene also held multiple roles at Benchmark Holdings plc, including Managing Director, Advanced Nutrition from January 2019 to June 2021, and Group Legal Counsel from August 2014 to June 2019. Athene worked as a Solicitor - Senior Associate at Travers Smith from October 2010 to August 2014. Additionally, Athene gained experience as a Foreign Legal Associate at Anderson Mori & Tomotsune for a brief period in 2013. Athene started their career as a Solicitor at Slaughter and May from September 2004 to September 2010.

Athene Blakeman attended St John's College, Oxford from 2000 to 2003, where they pursued a degree in Jurisprudence. Following their undergraduate studies, they enrolled at the Oxford Institute of Legal Practice from 2003 to 2004, where they completed a Legal Practice Course with a specialization in Corporate and Business Law.
