Jerry Jesness

Jerry Jesness is an experienced educator specializing in English language instruction and cross-cultural training. Currently serving as an ESL teacher at Rice University since September 2010, Jerry also holds the position of Cross-cultural Trainer at Cartus Corporation, where engagement with American and foreign corporate employees takes place. Additionally, Jerry is a Teacher Trainer with Oxford Seminars, preparing educators for international teaching positions. Previous experience includes teaching ESL in an adult basic program at the College of the Mainland and instructing English as a second language and Spanish at Clear Creek ISD. Jerry holds a Master’s degree in Spanish from the University of Texas, Pan American, and a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Minnesota, Morris.
