Karen Theresa Sandy

Karen Theresa Sandy possesses extensive experience in the field of visual arts education and language instruction, currently serving as an IB DP Visual Arts Instructor at Kent-Meridian High School since June 2017. With a professional background that includes roles as an IB DP Visual Arts Examiner for the International Baccalaureate Organization and as a Seminar Leader for Oxford Seminars, Karen has demonstrated a solid commitment to education and training. Previous accomplishments involve coordinating the IB Diploma Program at L'Ecole Saoudienne à Paris and directing Joseph Lavely Studio/Gallery, showcasing Pacific Northwest artists. Karen holds a Bachelor's degree in Fine and Studio Arts/Art Education from Florida Atlantic University and has pursued further graduate studies in Curriculum and Instruction.
