Dr. Amool Raina

Dr. Amool Raina has had a varied and extensive work experience. In 2020, they were the Head of Research and Development, Sr. Manager of Production Technology and Industrialisation, and Programme Manager at Oxford Space Systems. From 2016-2020, they were the Program Manager and Lead Consultant for Aerospace Engg. and Mfg., EU and ESA Affairs at RWTH Aachen University. From 2010-2012, they were the Managing Director of Engineering and Operations, Sr. Program Manager and Lead Consultant, and Group Lead and Junior Consultant at Wetzel Engineering, Inc. From 2012-2010, they were a Ph.D. Student and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Kansas. In 2009, they were a GTA and Technician (Student Hourly) at the University of Kansas. In 2007, they were a Project Engineer and Team Lead at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. In 2006, they were an Undergraduate Intern at Larsen & Toubro Limited.

Dr. Amool Raina received a Bachelor of Engineering in Production Engineering from the University of Mumbai between 2004 and 2007. Dr. Amool then attended the University of Kansas - School of Engineering, where they obtained an MS in Aerospace Engineering from 2009 to 2011, and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Aerospace Engineering from 2012 to 2016. In August 2022, they obtained a Basic First Aid Level 2 (VTQ) certification from ProTrainings Europe Ltd. Dr. Amool is currently enrolled in an Executive MBA program at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, which they began in 2023.
