Mark Crittenden

Head of Battery Development & Integration at Oxis Energy

Mark holds a first-class Masters degree and a PhD in Electronic Engineering, is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the Institute of Engineering and Technology. He worked at Nanometrics, developing materials characterisation and metrology equipment for the semiconductor industry, from inception through to full production. He later worked at Research Machines in the roles of New Product Introduction Manager and Programme Manager.

He joined OXIS Energy in January 2012 as Head of Business Development, commercialising the game-changing Lithium Sulfur technology. In 2016, Mark took on the role of Head of Battery Development and Integration, working with customers who are adopting Lithium Sulfur into their products. He is also an advisor to the Aerospace Technology Institute.
